I was in Paris to attend the opening of an exhibition of my work at a gallery in the Bastille area. Luckily for me, an all-night art festival called Nuit Blanche (White Night) was lighting up the night with amazing flaming installations.
The experience spawned a new body of work, While Paris Burns, to showcase the city’s passion and subvert its icons. I exhibited this work at a solo show at the Alliance Française in Washington, DC, and in another serendipitous twist, at the inaugural Art All Night festival, D.C.’s version of Nuit Blanche.
I also have pieces available which are not yet photographed and which don’t feature fire on the Rodin Museum, Metro and Pompidou Center. Please contact me if you are interested.
